Keira started working with us in May of 2013 in the Preschool room. She loves working with the families at OCCS. Her favourite thing about being in the field of early childhood education is the beautifully curious and intelligent way that a child’s mind works. She loves seeing their eyes fill with wonder and joy each time they discover something new. In her spare time she loves to create a very fine balance of musical events and going to the beach. Her favourite children’s books are Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers, the Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson, anything Dr. Seuss, Stick and Stone by Beth Ferry and last but not least Winken Blinken and Nod, the classic children’s poem. Something that you may not know about Keira is that even in the middle of winter, she can’t be near the ocean without sticking her toes in the water at least once.
